The US Air Force veteran wanted to auction the watch on the US PBS series "Antiques Roadshow", comparable to the ZDF junk show "Bares for Rares".
But when the moderator told him the current value of his watch, he literally toppled out of his shoes . That should have increased by more than 11,400 percent ! The Rolex was now worth a whopping 400,000 dollars (more than 360,000 euros). The American television channel CNN is now reporting on this record find.

" An absolutely unique find. It is one of the rarest Paul Newman models and in this condition there is probably no better one in the world," the expert was amazed when he took a closer look at the rare piece. Paul Newman was a well-known Hollywood actor from the 1950s -Years ago and wore a similar model in one of his films.
