(ANSA) - LECCO, 04 FEB - A 27-year-old mountaineer has lost a bit of snow this morning, falling on the Grigna Nord, one of the best-known mountains in the province of Lecco.
On the basis of what has been reconstructed so far, the Giovanesi was still gearing up with some climbing companions to face the Fiamma canal, characterized during this period by the insidious presence of ice, on the west side of the mountain, better known as Grignone, when it precipitated.
Rescue services, implemented since 118 with the helicopter rescue of Como and the Alpine Rescue of Lecco. The recovery of the body was difficult, also due to the presence of strong winds at high altitude.
