(ANSA) - ROME, FEBRUARY 4 - Still gale winds and cold on Italy: the Civil Protection foresees it, pointing out that the disturbance of north-Atlantic origin will also be responsible for snowfall at hilly altitudes on the central Adriatic and southern regions. The notice announces from the early afternoon of today strong northern winds, with gusts up to strong storms, over Valle d'Aosta and Liguria. Snowfall on Abruzzo, Molise, Puglia, Basilicata and inland areas of Campania (above 500-700 meters) and Calabria and Sicily (above 700-900 meters) is expected in the early hours of tomorrow, February 5. On the basis of the predicted phenomena, the Civil Protection assesses some yellow areas of Molise and Sicily for tomorrow's yellow alert.
