Calories, fats and nutritional values

We do not claim that pizza is a daily edible dish, but as mentioned, it is considered to be the healthiest (relatively) street food. An average pizza triangle weighs about 100 grams, contains about 300 to 400 calories, about 12 grams of fat, about 6 grams of saturated fat, 36 grams of carbohydrate and about 14 grams of protein. If you choose whole wheat flour dough, you will gain the amount of dietary fiber as opposed to white flour.

The addition of cheese in pizza is an addition of cholesterol, and sometimes a large amount of saturated fat, but is also a source of calcium and protein that contribute, among other things, to maintaining the bones in our bodies.

Pizza addiction is not an invention

Ever wonder why you can't say no to another pizza triangle? Researchers at Yale University have found that our brains just love everything about carbohydrate and fat.

The researchers whose research was published in the journal Cell Metabolism recruited 206 researchers who received a sum of money to attend and bid on a mock auction while their brains were being scanned. The researchers found that the researchers tended to offer more money for foods that included a combination of carbohydrates and fats such as pizza and chocolate chip cookies, and at the same time scans showed that there was increased activity in the brain-related area of reward and sense of satisfaction.

Ironically, foods that contain the combination of fat and carbohydrates do not exist in nature. Junk food, on the other hand, usually consists of 25 percent fat and 50 percent carbohydrate. The researchers found that a combination of fat and carbohydrate created a craving and a unique response greater than the sum of the carbohydrate and fat parts individually.

How much do you need to sweat to burn a pizza triangle?

As mentioned above, a pizza triangle contains about 350 calories and about 12 grams of fat, which is only for one slice, and there's no way you haven't eaten at least two. So what to do with all the guilty feelings? Going to do sports, but just how much is sports? We have an answer for you:

The tomato sauce is perhaps the best thing about pizza

A 2018 Spanish study found that cooked or fried tomato sauce, like the one in pizza and pasta, helps greatly in improving the good bacteria activity in the gut.

Tomatoes are considered healthy foods, mainly because they contain a carotenoid called lycopene - an antioxidant that helps protect cells from harmful factors and proves virtues in its ability to protect against degenerative diseases, heart disease and even cancer. Previous research has shown that tomatoes have probiotic properties - that is, they can increase the activity of healthy bacteria in the gut.

Experimental results from Politècnica de València University researchers found that the antioxidants from the tomato sauce absorbed by the body enhanced the beneficial effects of the gut bacteria. In fact, the cooked tomato sauce is more effective than its counterpart - the uncooked. In addition, cooking the sauce and incorporating oil made the presence of lycopene more accessible, in what is known as the isomerization process.

Pizza on this morning is not (necessarily) a habit of shit

Do you also like your pizza cold in the morning? Turns out you are geniuses at all. Health and nutrition experts agree that pizza can be a healthier, healthier breakfast than most cereals. In the case of breakfast cereals especially for children, the dish may contain large amounts of sugar and very little, if any, protein and healthy fats.

In fact, a pizza triangle and a bowl of whole-milk cereal may in some circumstances contain the same amount of calories, but the pizza will contain more protein and will satisfy you over time. Plus, pizza has far less sugar, and more fat. The pizza contains calcium (thanks to cheese), lycopene that fights diseases and free radicals (tomato sauce) and cereals and dietary fiber (wheat dough). Bottom line, a pizza triangle will usually be a more balanced and varied meal than a bowl of cereal in milk.
