Video: The opening day of the KFC branch in Nazareth

A week ago, the Nazareth branch of the American food chain KFC opened and the Israelis flocked there in droves, with many apparently waiting for Saturday to inaugurate the place. Only according to testimony from those present, the situation got out of control last weekend when one-and-a-half-hour queues were registered at the entrance, and another hour and a half waiting for the food to arrive, when there were even various reports of queuing riots and security guards having to exert force.

On social networks, there are mainly allegations that the branch is not prepared to serve this kind of diners. Those who managed to get there last weekend found that only two self-service machines were operating and at the booking desk there was only one employee taking orders, which caused serious delays, and although people waited over their hour and a half for their food, new orders were still being taken, and the queue outside was getting longer.

And how's the food? And how's the food?

Many of those who made the reservation and made an order at some point had to give up and cancel their order, because it just didn't leave the kitchen. Despite the rush and despite the tension, the various posts said that the local staff was courteous and did everything he could to keep up the load and provide pleasant service, but the branch managers simply were not prepared for it.

"After an hour and a half of waiting in line, and another hour and a half of waiting at the box office, we decided to cancel a deal and go," said one of the posts written on the subject, "People attack the security guards, get injured, and orders just don't come out."

The KFC network contacted some of the complainants and tried to understand what happened there and how to compensate those who had a bad experience.
