The deputy LR and president of the finance committee of the National Assembly deplores the “lost time” and the complexity of a text of law “badly put together”.

The former minister of Nicolas Sarkozy disavowed the method of the government and the negotiations very before the reform, deploring the lost time: " more than two years for a project which does not settle anything on the financial aspect. The social partners must take care of it today ”.

On the merits, the elected official deplored the effects of the reform, which according to him reinforce the complexity of an already nebulous system for many citizens. They create a larger system that no one understands. In this reform there are even more parameters than before. You will have a pivotal age, a legal age, points of purchase, points of service, a subscription period ... No country does this! He commented, adding that " the government discovers its own text, like any creature that escapes its creator ".

Éric Woerth then said that " what we should have done is reform the special plans, make a basic universal plan, reform the retirement age " by simplifying the overall plan.

Regarding the role of parliamentarians, Éric Woerth was also critical. The government has been complicating things for two years. There are 29 prescriptions, we have never seen that. There are decrees everywhere. If, in addition, the government used 49-3, the place of Parliament would be extremely limited, ”he stressed, recognizing, however, that the executive does not plan to use 49-3 for the time being.
