A popular Rewe product is being recalled because it could contain plastic parts. However, customers can return it and get their money back.
- Rewe and the company B + F Bakery & Food are recalling a product of the own brand "Rewe Beste Wahl" nationwide.
- Because of a production error, white plastic parts could be in it.
- Customers will be refunded the purchase price even without a receipt in the respective branches.

Rewe had the affected product removed from sale immediately after the recall . For those customers who have already bought the cake, there is the option to return the product to the respective branch. The purchase price will then be reimbursed there - even if the receipt has long been thrown away.
