(ANSA) - NAPLES, FEBRUARY 14 - The Court of Cassation canceled the sentence with which in December 2012 the Court of Appeal of Naples sentenced the lawyer Michele Sanastastaso to 11 years of imprisonment, accused of association with the Camorra style with the Casalesi clan. Lawyers ClaudioD'Isa and Maurizio Giannone of the Rome Bar announce it. The Cassation also ordered a new judgment before another section of the same Court of Appeal. Santonastaso was accused of taking part in a mafia-type criminal association for having acted as an intermediary between the Casalesi clan boss Francesco Bidognetti, imprisoned at 41 bis, and his men. During the appeal process "Spartacus", against members and affiliates of the Casalesi clan, during the hearing of March 13, 2010, Santonastaso read the proclamation against RobertoSaviano, Rosaria Capacchione and the magistrate Raffaele Cantone, interpreted as a minatory. On September 26, 2010, the boss's lawyer was arrested on charges of mafia association.
