The Norwegian shipping giant announced that it is canceling its intended route in Asia, which was supposed to continue until the Tokyo Olympics, probably due to the Corona's panic, and instead will sail through some very interesting destinations in the Middle East, including two cities in Israel.

According to our information, the company will operate the "Norwegian Spirit" ship on a route that will start from Piraeus port in Greece, which will also be its home port, and will continue a seven-day cruise between several destinations in Turkey, Greece and, as mentioned, Israel.

Among the destinations that are expected to be on the route are Rhodes, Santorini, Crete, Corfu, Kusadsky (Turkey), Istanbul, Haifa and Ashdod. This is undoubtedly a spectacular track that should combine authentic destinations with lots of history, good food and culture.

The shipping giant's decision brings with it a line of exceptional size to Israel. This is the first time that such a company will operate a route that will pass between two cities in Israel, where passengers will probably also be able to get off the boat and travel. It is therefore a big news for tourism in Ashdod and Haifa, and of course for the Israeli tourist who can board the ship and enjoy a sailing experience we did not see in the State of Israel.

The giant ship has 14 floors, it can accommodate about two thousand passengers, in addition to about a thousand crew members. The ship arrives in our area after a period of sailing between destinations in Africa, in the Cruise that left Cape Town, South Africa. Currently, according to the page launched on the company's website, prices are expected to start from $ 489 per passenger per cruise.
