(ANSA) - ROME, FEBRUARY 15 - The school strike called by the major unions has been brought forward to March 6 to defend the rights of the precarious workers and protest against the failure to comply with the agreements signed with the Government on the subject of disabilities, recruitment and contracts.
"The decision to bring forward the mobilization date, initially scheduled for March 17 - explains Rino Di Meglio, national coordinator of the Guild-Unams Federation - is dictated by the urgency and gravity of the stakes and by the total closure shown by Minister Azzolina who, instead, to close the dialogue with the trade unions on the accelerator to hasten the publication of the competition notices currently being examined by the CSPI ". "No concrete response will come from the Administration," Di Meglio concludes, "the strike of March 6 will be only the first act of a long mobilization". The strike was initially announced for March 17th.
