It was vandalized almost immediately after Banksy's new work revealed in Bristol for Valentine's Day was made, a girl who with a slingshot throws a bunch of red roses exploding above her head. Several photos circulating on social networks show the work covered by a pink heart-shaped card and an inscription of insults against the BBC.
Also in early December, a passerby had vandalized another Banksy mural in Birmingham, adding a red nose to the two graffiti reindeers.
