For the actress, "the members of the executive office are responsible, estimable people, and who have worked for French cinema whatever one might think of one or the other" .
The direction of the Academy, accused of self-esteem and opacity in its functioning and jostled by the Polanski controversy after the 12 nominations for its film J'accuse , resigned en bloc, just two weeks before his annual ceremony scheduled for February 28.
