A corpse in an advanced state of decomposition was found yesterday morning on the banks of the Tiber in Rome by a Local Police patrol. Reportedly, the agents of the Gssu (Urban Social Security Group) of the Local Police, during the control service along the banks of the Tiber, found the body in an inconspicuous area under a bridge in the floodplain area of the river, in the Villa Spada area. Further investigations into the identity of the person are underway. The causes and timing of death are to be determined. From the first investigations it seems that the death dates back to two or three weeks ago.
