VIDEO - After the success of his first album, the DJ from Nice released Heaven where he multiplied the quiet melodies to escape time. Meeting with a humble and sensitive artist.

We were the first to speak of Tristan, alias The Avener, this Nice DJ who, in 2015, made the whole of France dance. His album The Wanderings of The Avener had garnered some 800 million internet hits.

This sampling magician had chained a world tour after which, despite the insistence of his record company, he had chosen to take a break. Take the time to look at the progress made, from your first evenings as a DJ at the High Club in Nice, to the biggest stages in the world. And start imagining the color of the next album.

Tristan has taken the opposite view from what is currently feeding the charts: harsh and descriptive urban music. Instead, the DJ shapes music to escape time, to find themselves in a wild world, that of dreams, to "feel free" , he sums up.

Generosity and empathy

His new album, Heaven (Capitol Universal), invites relaxation and pleasure, thanks to harmonious tones and flexible rhythms. A choice made with confidence, success having taught him to gain self-confidence. "It takes time to understand it," he says, with that touch of shyness that characterizes him.

Although this new album remains in the electro register, sensitivity reigns there. Which no doubt explains why Tristan asked his producers to schedule him rooms on a human scale, "where I'm not 20 meters from the public, because I need to see the expressions on their faces. That's how I feel. ”

He has generosity, empathy, that the public feels. Very young, he could see from his home in Nice that of Elton John at the top of the hill. One day, he took his courage in both hands, prepared a cassette and a letter in English which he carried to the gate of the park of the British star. He handed them over to the guards and ... never heard from him. It would have been a nice boost, but obviously he didn't need it.

Start of the tour in Marseille on April 10, then Bourges on the 10;

La Rochelle on July 17;

Caen on October 2, Nantes on 3, Strasbourg on 10, Lille on 16;

Rennes on November 5, Toulouse on 6, Bordeaux on 10, Lyon on 12, Paris AccorHotels Arena on 14 and Nice on December 11.
