Without Hadas Kleinman, with whom he has had success and appreciation, the musician feels like an independent way. • Now he can tell the world exactly what he feels, and there is also a bonus: women's attention
Since the creator and musician Aviv Bachar, his cellist, cellist Hadas Kleinman, parted ways, he has assembled into a significant two-year period of healing and creation. He is now on his own solo release with the first solo album, and today (Sunday) released the first single "Moving", accompanied by a clip directed by Aviv Bachar and Sara Plot together with animator and musician Liron Atia (Blue Elephant).
The new song opens with the words: "The heart is lethargic and refuses to open / You were so in love / Now your heart is crooked / Look to the sunrise / She will teach you", a text that suggests dealing with an easy time. "This is a personal and intimate song that I wrote about a year ago at the end of an easy day I went through," confirms Bachar. "The phrase 'always has to move' that appears in the song, I memorize myself several times a day, like a prayer, like a mantra. Reminding myself and others that everything can turn around for good, just has to keep moving forward. I hope it will give power to others as well as it gave me." .
In December 2018, Aviv Bachar and Hades Kleinman signed a farewell tour that concluded seven years of musical collaboration and two albums ("Slightly Simplicity", "Once") leaving audiences hits like "In Our Days", "Sailboat", "The Water" and others . The duo received a warm hug from the audience and radio stations, yet chose to break up the partnership.
"The musical separation happened as a result of our growth," explains Bachar. "Everyone pulled in different directions. A professional breakup is parallel to a couple's breakup. There is everything to it. I was 26 when I started performing with Hadas, and now, when I am 34, I choose to follow the paths that are healthy for me, not doing anything contrary to my character and everything I do. "I want to tell the world. Today I have a choice and a saying that I go to the end with. During the work on the album I played to compose the songs, she was excited."
Bachar and Kleinman's great intimacy on stage has often given rise to the rumors that the two are also partners in life. At times it was also entertaining, when one of them was sent a 'congratulations to the engagement'. "It turned out that the collaboration with Hadas blocked me options for couples. Only after the breakup did girls start talking to me. Before that, they didn't come close, they were sure I was with Hadas."
Apart from new romantic couple options, what else have you been through for the past two years?
"After years of working together and stable with a beautiful and sympathetic audience, I suddenly had to start everything from the beginning. Every person broke the heart. Because of love, profession, dream and more. I was completely in this chevron, until the moment a crack opened through which a hint of light came in from which I felt That one can rise and see a new and realistic possibility.
"Creating, when authentic and personal, is equivalent to psychological therapy. Writing songs is the best way to tell the world what's going on. You have permission to give extra emotion and honesty and open up really, reflect like an X-ray accurately your soul. All these brought me to work on the album, Together with the talented music producer Roy Hermon. "
Aviv Bachar is the youngest of three sons, born in Kibbutz Afek. When he did not get along in the kibbutz, he moved to Yodfat when he was 16 and volunteered at the "Milk with the Wind" farm. "I lived there for a few years and they became a real family. I volunteered working with goats and cheese making. It's life closest to nature, even without electricity," he says.
The current departure for an independent musical route also included a departure from the big city of Tel Aviv and settling in Makhmoret. There he wrote and composed the ten songs of the new album, which he says represent Israeli as it looks from his son's eyes.
Moving is the first single that Bachar officially releases from his album. He was preceded by the song "Land of My Love," which coincides with Lea Goldberg's poetry. "The song was the first swallow foreshadowing the album, touching on my generation's relationship with Israel. It is not a protest song, but it presents the situation for better or worse.
The "Moving" single will be launched on February 27 at the Edna Club in Jaffa.
Moving | Lyrics and melody: Aviv Bachar
Lethargic sleeper
The heart is dormant
And refuses to open
You were so in love
Now your heart is crooked
Look at the sunrise
She'll teach you
Always have to move
Shine and sunk in the evening
Break until a crack appears
Through him you will begin to love man
It doesn't matter leave it
It's not sad it's just a sunset
Look how you are loved
Start cruising back
Look at yourself
In your reflection
Always have to move
Shine and sunk in the evening
Break until a crack appears
Through it you can love man
You will begin to love man
You can love man
You will begin to love man
