(ANSA) - ROME, FEBRUARY 16 - A very young Ugandan actress who had starred in the Disney film Queen of Katwe, focused on a chess game originating from a slum, died at 15 from a tumor. The BBC reports it citing Ugandan media. ANikita Pearl Waligwa had been diagnosed with brain cancer four years ago.
The 2016 film was based on the true story of PhionaMutesi, who started playing chess at the age of nine and came to compete in international tournaments.
