(ANSA) - GENOA, FEBRUARY 17 - Following investigations requested by the Commissioner at the Prefecture of Genoa, as part of the Anti-Mafia Protocol, access to the construction site of the bridge over the Polcevera of a trucking company for which the Prefecture of Reggio Calabria was blocked issued an interdiction order. The company was supposed to make some deliveries in the bridge reconstruction site. As soon as the report was verified, the sub-contract with the company "was immediately terminated". The company, reports the Commissioner, "never had access to the construction site". "Quantoaccaduto highlights the usefulness and efficiency of the controls carried out by all the companies that orbit around the construction site of the Polcevera Viaduct" says the structure.
The forbidden company is Nemesis with headquarters in Motta San Giovanni (Reggio Calabria). A first anti-mafia ban for a company working on the bridge was taken in May 2019 with a provision notified by Dia to Tecnodem in Naples.
