After a weekend with thermal that touched the 40 degrees, the National Meteorological Service (SMN) on Monday launched an alert for strong storms with possible hail fall for the City and the province of Buenos Aires.
The alert includes the center, north and southeast of the province of Buenos Aires; center and east of Catamarca; Cordova; south of Corrientes; Between rivers; The Pampa; center and east of La Rioja; southeast of Mendoza; north of San Luis; Santa Fe; south of Santiago del Estero; Tucumán; Autonomous city of Buenos Aires and Río de la Plata.
"In part of the coverage area rains and storms develop in an isolated way of varying intensity. It is expected that they will extend to the rest of the coverage area between the afternoon of today and the morning of tomorrow Tuesday 18," said the SMN .
He also indicated that some of the storms "can be strong or severe, being accompanied by strong electrical activity, abundant water fall in short periods, intense gusts and hail."
