At the start a delicate week for the majority to the test on different fronts from security to interceptions to the milleproroghe. In fact, the government intends to intervene on the decrees launched when Salvini was interior minister.

A table on the security and immigration dossier under the 2023 agenda is underway at Palazzo Chigi. The meeting, chaired by Prime Minister Giuseppe Conte, was attended by the ministers of the Interior and Defense, Luciana Lamorgese and Lorenzo Guerini, the deputy ministers of the Interior Vito Crimi and Matteo Mauri, the Undersecretary for Foreign Affairs Manlio Di Stefano. Riccardo Fraccaro, Undersecretary for the Presidency of the Council was also present. For the majority delegations, Senator M5S Alessandra Riccardi, Senator Roberta Pinotti (Pd), MPs Gennaro Migliore and Laura Garavini (Iv), Senator Loredana De Petris and Deputy Nicola Fratoianni (Leu) are present.

In the meantime, the majority would be thinking of placing their trust on the wiretapping decree , which will finish its procedure in committee in the Senate tomorrow morning to arrive in the Chamber in the afternoon. In this way the government would arm itself and defuse the risk represented by the amendment by Fi that cancels the Bonafede prescription prescription, on which Iv would have voted in favor, putting the majority at risk.

In the meantime, the Milleproroghe dl requested by the President of the Commission for Constitutional Affairs of Montecitorio Giuseppe Brescia was sent back to the commission for three hours to allow examination of some amendments there. The Assembly session will therefore resume at 8.45 pm.

The goal should however be to return to the Chamber to put confidence in the evening : the vote would be there tomorrow. Among the issues to be discussed, one concerns an amendment which postponed post-earthquake aid from June to the end of the year but which could run into the EU's findings. Coverage would be discussed on other amendments. On the table there would also be the approval of a proposal from the speakers, which concerns university hospitals.
