(ANSA) - ROME, FEBRUARY 18 - Harper's Bazaar arrives in Italy.
During the Milan Fashion Week, Thursday 20 February, the historic brand debuts with the first Italian digital edition, which will be followed by the social version and the Bazaar TV. To celebrate the event, a party tomorrow in Banco Bpm in Piazza Meda and a show in the fashion district. Harper's Bazaar is the oldest continuously published fashion magazine: founded in 1867 in the US and purchased by Hearst as early as 1912, it has established itself over time in terms of quality and authority in telling "what's new" and "what'snext". Helmut Newton, Diane Arbus, Richard Avedon some of the gliartisti who through its pages have helped to change the history of costume. Today Harper's Bazaar is in 44 countries with 32 editions. The Italian one will be directed by AlanPrada, recently editor in chief of Esquire. In addition to the site, Harper's Bazaar-branded social media will be turned on and the Bazaar TV will be launched: 800 exclusive videos will be launched in the first year.
