Cyberbullying can scar a person, and Jessica Simpson is proof of that. In an interview given by the star (39) to Stellar magazine ahead of the release of her new autobiography, she spoke candidly about the 2009 body-shaming that left her very hurt. Reason for shaming: Mum jeans she wore at a Florida music festival.
"I was fooled quite a bit by this picture," Simpson said. "I took diet pills and pinched my body fat until bruises were created. People remembered me in a car wash bikini, like I was in the Dukes tearing up Hazzard, but I've changed since then. .

"This world-moving image has broken my heart," Simpson continued. "It's not the pictures like what they wrote about. It brought me down completely." The picture that split Simpson's soul was taken at her performance at the same festival. Aside from the jeans in question, Simpson wore a black tank top, a speckled double belt and large golden earrings. The new weight she put on the show has made many people relate to her body (yes, remember we are our siblings too), in a way that has seriously damaged her self-confidence, she testifies.
She recently published a new autobiography called The Open Book in which she honestly talks about relationships, childhood traumas and other struggles like alcohol use. An entire chapter in the book is devoted to its weight and name theme: "Death by Mum Jeans."

The book in question seems to have been a treat for the star, who recently spends quite a bit of time in front of the cameras and presents a true and flattering style. She lovingly accepts age, neglects the overly sexy images, and prefers meticulous locks sponsored by leading fashion houses. On the bright blonde, which has become her hallmark over the years, she does not give up and continues to maintain it well. To which she always adds large sunglasses and tries to opt for uniform monochromaticity for each look, even if bold.
