It was indeed a motorist who discovered the animal, in very bad shape, between Cornillon-Confoux and Grans, in the Bouches-du-Rhône, more than 800 km from his home.
Supported by the Salon-de-Provence SPA, the cat is then treated by a veterinarian who discovers that it is microchipped. Its owners are quickly identified. “I left a message on Elyssia's cellphone, Poupoune's mistress, who called me back during the day. She couldn't believe it, especially since she never lived here! We have no idea how this cat got to us, ”says Julie, responsible for cats at the shelter. "But she was delighted, since she took it over, she gives us news every day. "
