(ANSA) - LA PAZ, FEBRUARY 19 - Former Bolivian president EvoMorales will not be able to stand for election in the Senate next 3 May. This was reported today by the newspaper Pagina Sietecitare a decision of the plenum of the Supreme Electoral Court (Tse).
The newspaper adds that the candidacy of former Foreign Minister Diego Pary has also been rejected.
For its part, the newspaper El Deber, citing sources of the Movement to Socialism (MAS), the political formation of Morales, indicates that its presidential candidate, the ex-minister of Economy Luis Arce, remains instead in competition.
