Munich - Due to a labeling error , the delicatessen manufacturer Homann is recalling its "Hamburger Sauce". Individual bottles of Homann sauce (450ml) could contain a different product. Wheat, egg and mustard can be part of the recipe in the product, the company said on its website. The portal Lebensmittelwarnung.de of the Federal Office of Consumer Protection published a warning on Thursday. The product was sold in Bavaria, Hesse, Lower Saxony, North Rhine-Westphalia, Saxony-Anhalt, Schleswig-Holstein and Thuringia.

Sauces with the best-before date of July 13, 2020 and the batch number L10530281 are affected. According to the company, consumption can lead to allergic reactions in people suffering from wheat, egg or mustard tolerance .
