This controversial novel imagined the coming to power in France of a president from a Muslim political party in 2022. Director Guillaume Nicloux will adapt the novel "Soumission" by Michel Houellebecq, we learned on Thursday .

According to a production press release, actor Jean-Paul Rouve ("Le Sens de la Fête", "Les Tuche") was chosen for the main role. The rest of the casting is underway.
