The year already started with great new series on Amazon Prime and Netflix: including the new Star Trek series "Picard". February also has some streaming pearls ready for fans. New additions include "Locke & Key" (Netflix), "The Pharmacist" (Netflix) and "Hunters" (Amazon Prime Video). But are the series really worth it?
"Locke & Key" Season 1 (Netflix)
On February 7th the new series " Locke & Key " starts on Netflix. The mystery series consists of ten episodes and is based on the comic book of the same name by Joe Hill and Gabriel Rodríguez. The story is about three siblings who move to their old headquarters full of surreal keys after the murder of their father. These give them different powers.

"The Pharmacist" (Netflix)
The next highlight in February is " The Pharmacist " on Netflix. The focus of the series is a pharmacist from Louisiana who tragically lost his son. Motivated by this, the man wants to reveal the corruption behind the opioid crisis in the USA. There is currently no trailer (as of 16.01.20) - does Netflix keep a low profile on this sensitive topic?

"Hunters" Season 1 (Amazon Prime)
Amazon Prime will also launch a new series in February. " Hunters " takes place in 1977 and accompanies a group of Nazi hunters in New York. The men find out that hundreds of Nazis who have fled live in the United States and the group wants to take revenge. But the story is not as simple as they imagine. The cast of the series includes Hollywood star Al Pacino .
The ten episode first season of "Hunters" will be released on February 21 on Amazon Prime. Here is the trailer:

New seasons: "Narcos: Mexico", "Better Call Saul", "Pastewka" and much more
In addition to some innovations, the streaming services are also continuing their previous series. Netflix continues the spin-off of "Narcos" on February 13th. " Narcos: Mexcio " is entering its second season. Fans of the clever lawyer Jimmy McGill aka Saul Goodman can look forward to February 24th.
