(ANSA) - BEIJING, FEBRUARY 21 - South Korea has designated the city of Daegu and Cheongdo as "special attention areas" after the rise in coronavirus infection cases. Premier ChungSye-kyun has promised every effort by the government to take "strong and rapid" measures to avoid further spread of the virus, defining the latest developments as an "emergency" situation. The government will take action "urgently declaring the areas of Daegu and Cheongdo 'special attention zones' as a sudden increase has been reported," said Chung.
