Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox, Lisa Kudrow, David Schwimmer, Matt LeBlanc and Matthew Perry all announced it at the same time on social media on Friday.

The future HBO Max platform also formalized in a press release what fans have been waiting for years. "After 15 years, nine months and the countless requests around the world, we have the exclusive information you have been waiting for: the cast of Friends will meet exclusively for a special on HBO Max," it wrote.
This special and the 236 episodes of the series will be available to HBO Max subscribers in May in the United States when this Warner-driven platform is launched.
