One person died and three others were injured this morning in a multiple crash on provincial interbalneary route 11, at the height of San Clemente del Tuyú. Because of the accident, significant traffic delays were generated at the start of the long Carnival holiday.
The incident occurred near 8.35 at kilometer 305 hand to the Atlantic coast where, for reasons that are unknown, three vehicles collided, two of them frontally. One of them is a Buenos Aires taxi.
As a result of the impact, as reported by the agency Télam, one person died and three others were injured and were transferred by the emergency service of the provincial SAME to a hospital in the area.
After 10.40 the road remained completely cut off and all drivers were diverted through the bench sector.
Traffic delays persist and reach 5 kilometers of vehicle lines and local firefighters, road police and road safety work on site.
