The coronavirus toll in China reaches 2,442 deaths , after the other 97 victims registered yesterday, almost all in the province of Hubei. The National Health Commission also confirmed 648 other positive cases. Most of the deaths and infections were recorded in Wuhan, where the virus first appeared in December. The total number of infected in China reached 76,936 cases.
The Iranian authorities have announced that three other people have died in the country due to coronavirus : the deaths, recorded among 15 new cases of contagion, thus bring the total number of victims in Iran to eight.
