Lindsay Lohan is arguing: After making headlines in recent years in mostly non-positive contexts, is Luhan slowly making her way back to the top?
The 33-year-old actress is currently in advanced negotiations to star in a new horror movie called "The Curse," alongside Mickey Rourke - according to a report by The Hollywood Reporter.
At the center of the film will be the image of a patient who escaped from a psychiatric hospital, took five hostages and threatens to kill them. Luhan will portray in the film the police detective who, along with the hospital's psychiatrist, will try to arrest the dangerous patient.
Lohan knew, as mentioned, simple moments in the last decade. Her name came to headlines in various and varied negative contexts, such as theft and trial, service work, drunkenness and even several days of detention she ran at a rehab facility.
However, for the past two years she seems to be trying to get back on screen. She participates in Sky Network's "Sick Note" series, which stars Rupert Grint (Ron Weasley for you), and last year featured another (and quite failed, horror) movie called "Among the Shadows."
At the same time, Lahan does not seem to be going away from the trash districts, as she also starred on the Lindsay Lohan Beach Club on MTV, where a group of beautiful young men and women run her vacation home under her supervision.
Will the new film also help her break away from the negative image she clung to? We keep her fingers crossed.
