(ANSA) - NEW DELHI, FEBRUARY 24 - Overwhelmed by the embrace of the Indian premier Modi and the enthusiastic reception of the over one hundred thousand people who packed the Modhera cricket stadium, and repeated songs and slogans, the US President Trump thanked the Indians for the "Namastè Trump, BenvenutoTrump" event, with a tweet in Hindi. In his speech at the stadium Trump anticipated that tomorrow three agreements will be signed between the two countries on the defense of the value of 3 thousand billion and he supported that the personal affair of Modi is a touching story of an incredible rise. Shortly before, introducing him to the crowd, Modia had said "today we made history: the ties between India and the US are no longer just any partnership, but have reached very high levels". Trump and his wife Melania landed at Ahmedabad airport, the hometown of the Indian premier, this morning around 11.30 and before reaching the stadium they visited the Gandhi ashram, the house where the Indian independence leader lived from 1917 to 1930 .
