Virus, 6 provinces China lower alert

(ANSA) - BEIJING, FEBRUARY 24 - Six provinces of Cinache have lowered their emergency level against the coronavirus epidemic: they are Gansu, Liaoning, Guizhou, Yunnan, Shanxi and Guangdong.
The move by local authorities follows the invitation from President Xi Jinping yesterday of an "orderly return" to work and production activities after the Lunar New Year holiday, exceptionally prolonged due to the health emergency.
Meanwhile, China reported another 150 deaths and 409 new cases (648) of infection found yesterday. The total number of deaths thus increased to 2,592; the infections went up to 77,150; released from hospitals rose to 24,734, an increase of 1,846 units.
