The images that went viral last weekend from La Plata refer directly to the case of Fernando Báez Sosa. In the middle of a generalized frenzy among young people, a girl hits another until it vanishes, and already on the floor, she hits him with a head in the head. Perhaps only fortune made the outcome different. But the level of aggressiveness is the same.
That is the feeling he feels at this time Romina Suárez , the young woman attacked in the center of La Plata who, despite the shocking images, barely spent a few hours in the hospital.
“I am just falling from everything that is happening to me. See Fernando's case and know that I am standing here telling him, see Fernando's parents. Seeing that they were free gives me helplessness. They were waiting to kill me to do something. The girl was thinking of killing me, I don't know . Above it has in mind to get the phone at that time, I do not know what went through his mind, ”he said.
Speaking to the TN channel , the girl said that she was returning with a group of friends to celebrate the birthday of Martin, her boyfriend. “They came from the opposite side. We were singing, shouting, and they thought we were shouting at them. They came to look for us, they happened to us, they threw stones at us. They start beating my boyfriend, I try to get one of the boys out, and there the girl attacks me, who hits me from behind and I fade away and fall. I no longer felt anything. I watch the video and I can't believe I'm there, ”he explained.
Romina said that when she sees the images, she has a hard time believing she is the victim. “I can't believe I'm here, the aggressiveness that these boys have, see how it keeps hitting me when I'm on the floor, I can't believe that girl's aggressiveness.
"When I woke up in the hospital and saw my mom crying, I started crying. I couldn't believe it was me who was there. I don't understand what's going on in their heads, why do they get to that level. If I see a person I'm not going to keep hitting him on the floor because I can kill her. I'm still shocked, ”she admitted.
Romina was attacked on Sunday morning in the center of the Buenos Aires capital and, after being treated at the San Martín Hospital, she was discharged that same day.
The clinical picture of the young woman, sources from the Ministry of Health reported, was " mild cranial trauma, without deterioration in their level of consciousness," although hematoma was detected in the left temporal region.
In the case, labeled as "minor injuries", only under 17 years of age remain detained, who assaults Romina on the floor. On Monday, three men were released: Matías Duran, 21; Lucas Preste and Agustin Sanguinetti, 22.
“I don't know if it's because they don't have education or because parents didn't teach them values, they live that aggressiveness in the house. I also want to know what parents say, to see that girl hit me like that, I don't understand, ”Romina said.
