(ANSA) - ANCONA, FEBRUARY 25 - In the Marche region "from midnight onwards measures have been taken that foresee the closure of the schools of all levels and the suspension of public entertainment events" until midnight on March 4th.
This was announced by the president of the Marche Region LucaCeriscioli in a video message: "I have just signed the ordinance which increases the measures against the containment of the Coronavirus". An "important choice made after 24 hours of waiting in the path taken together with the government in the meeting this morning". The ordinance was prepared "in the awareness that the situation after 24 hours has further worsened. A contagion at the border of our region, in Cattolica - he reminds us - indicates that there are more and more urgent containment measures. We need to support those that we have followed to date , on which we must insist, on individual measures, these most important measures which, by avoiding the gathering of people, reduce the risk of contagion ".
