Fabio Fognini, Lorenzo Sonego, Gianluca Mager, Stefano Travaglia and Simone Bolelli are the players called up by Corrado Barazzutti in view of the qualifying round for the Davis 2020 Cup finals which on 6 and 7 March in Cagliari will face Italy and South Korea. For Mager and Travaglia this is the first call for the Davis Cup, there is no South Tyrolean Jannik Sinner The Korean captain Hee Sung Chung has instead called Duckhee Lee, Ji Sung Nam, Yunseong Chung, Min-Kyu Song, Hong Chung . The first two singles are scheduled for Friday 6 March, then the double on Saturday and the other two singles to start at 11 am. The Davis Cup finals are scheduled for November 23 to 29 at the Caja Magica in Madrid with 18 teams at the away divided into six groups. The semi-finalists of the past edition have already qualified (Spain, Canada, Russia and Great Britain) as well as Serbia and France to which two wild cards have been assigned.
