Michelle Terán says goodbye to the fourth season of Exatlón United States and becomes the fifth eliminated by losing the duel against Alejandra "Azul" Lara.

The Exatlón United States contenders had a bittersweet day: on the one hand, they once again tasted the honey of victory by beating the Famous 4-10, and on the other, they once again passed the bitter drink of elimination by firing Michelle Terán

The joy of the Blues for having won a team duel after eight days without knowing the victory vanished almost immediately in the elimination duel where Alejandra "Blue" Lara ended Michelle's dreams.

Presented as a 21-year-old Mexican cyclist and crossfitera, Michelle came to the competition replacing the injured Natalie Díaz Hassan , the Puerto Rican basketball player who in a few days established herself as one of the strongest women in the competition.

The toughest mission

Michelle's mission, like that of all the relays, was titanic, because there is nothing more difficult in Exatlón United States than to join the competition that is already going and the athletes are in rhythm.

Michelle took on the challenge, and she knew she would walk the tightrope from day one. In fact, the Mexican was slow to know the victory, because her first point was achieved in her first elimination duel against Paula Laws .

In that tough situation, the Mexican cyclist showed what she was capable of and her teammates praised her performance in front of the Argentine crossfitera who arrived from day one to the competition.

An uphill job

It was not until the eighth day of team duels that Michelle managed to score her first point against the Famous, although throughout her stay in the competition she could only relish the victory against the red girls four times and lost 25 times.

The blue crossfitera could only win each one of the red girls once, in total she won four victories in 29 passes, and two of those victories she achieved last Monday in the game for the Fortress, one against Yamilet Peña and another against to Lark "Nona" González .

It seemed that Michelle finally took off and was going to start contributing points consistently for her team; However, the following Wednesday, his blue team lost the first day of sentencing in the iron circuit and the Mexican was sentenced to elimination and frozen until Sunday.

Due to being frozen, Michelle could not participate in Thursday's fortress duel and could not fight on the third day for gold bullion, so she had no chance to win money in the competition, more than in the second fight for the gold, where it was eliminated.

The farewell

In the final ceremony, after being eliminated by Alejandra, Michelle expressed her feeling: "I leave with a lot of happiness, with a lot of learning from everyone, both blue and red."

The young Mexican woman continued with tears in her eyes: "The truth is that I am very grateful and fully with God and I do not know, I am very happy, I know that it is something difficult, but I take it in the best way, with the best attitude because this, as says Isaiah, it's just the beginning of a great road. "

In an interview, Michelle commented: "Really Exatlon taught me a lot, maybe there were few days, but since day one I noticed a change. I'm anxious about the Michelle I'm going with [...]. Things don't always go as we want, but you always learn something. "
