With a recall in several federal states, the authorities are responding to a Salmonella find during a routine food check. Salmonella was detected in a sausage from the manufacturer Willms Weißwasser GmbH & Co. KG.

The product was sold under different brand names in stores of the retail chains Rewe , Edeka , Kaufland and Norma . In addition, the sausage was also sold directly by Willms Weißwasser in Saxony through the shop counter. The sausage is pork cracker, a kind of sausage. In the meantime, the Solidarity Society Our Country is calling back quality A chicken eggs. The supermarkets Edeka and Rewe and several counties in the Munich area are affected. In addition, an igloo recall is currently taking place.

Recall at Edeka, Rewe, Kaufland concerns sausage from Saxony

The recall concerns the following items:

  • Pork cracker of the brand "Lecker Lausitz" with the best before date: November 22nd and 23rd and the batch number: 444930.
  • The pork cracker was also sold at the retail chains mentioned above from November 7th to 22nd.
  • At Norma the pork cracker is sold under the brand: "LECKER LAUSITZ". Packages with 250 and 300 grams with the best-before dates of November 27, 2019, November 28, 2019 and December 1, 2019 will be recalled.
