"They can't treat us like plague." Gianni Petrucci, president of Federbasket, to the Coni national council, denounces the Hungarian case of the refusal of Sopron, Schio's rival in the women's Euroleague, to play with Famila the next game for fear of a contagion of the coronavirus. During the CONI National Council, Petrucci informed the Minister of Youth Policy and Sports Vincenzo Spadafora of the fact that the Hungarian Ministry of Foreign Affairs intervened on the Hungarian Federbasket to prevent Sopron's team from playing in the Euroleague against Famila Schio. The reason given was that of the fear that the Famila Schio players were infected.
The race has already been moved to Ljubljana for February 26th.
