(ANSA) - BOLOGNA, FEBRUARY 25 - Two days ago Patrick George Zaky, the Egyptian student from the University of Bologna who has been arrested in Cairo since February 7, was transferred from the center of detention of the police station to a prison in Mansoura and currently visits by family members and lawyers have been denied until March 5. Amr, Patrick's Egyptian friend and activist in the front row to ask for its release, writes it on Twitter. "We have no idea of his health," he writes.
"The Egyptian government takes advantage of the fact that the Italian government is committed to the coronavirus and intentionally punishes Patrick." Activists demand that legal visitor rights be restored to the 28-year-old researcher.
