The niece and former collaborator of Senator José Alperovich who denounced him for sexual abuse with carnal access said he feels "liberated, safe and calm," after the former governor of Tucuman attributed the accusation to a plot against him.

"I feel liberated, safe and calm," said the 29-year-old complainant in a text that was released Wednesday by the technical support group, while stressing that "victims of sexual violence are not guilty."

"As it was ratified in both judicial offices, of Tucumán and Buenos Aires, the cause is only for sexual abuse, for the reported episodes and the only one accused is Alperovich. Only those facts are those that are investigated, " he remarked.

The communiqué was announced after in recent days a letter presented by the defense of Alperovich " that attempts to divert the origin of the cause " was disseminated through the media, denouncing a plot against the current senator, in use of a license, which would involve different officials from the province of Tucumán.

The presentation was dismissed by the judge who takes the case, Facundo Maggio, ruling that was appealed by the defense, so on Friday a hearing will be held to address this issue.

"As I will always be at the disposal of Justice because my only motive is to know the truth of what happened, all I want and want is justice," said the complainant.

" Victims of sexual violence are not guilty. We are not responsible . We are not the target," he said.

The young woman said that she remains expectant of the next judicial measures in the case, since Judge Maggio called for witnesses to the parties to testify.

The full statement released this Wednesday.

Meanwhile, the technical team that collaborates with the complainant said: "We trust that justice will not allow the facts to be misrepresented and that it will shed light on what has been denounced."

On November 22, Alperovich's niece who worked with him in his last campaign for governor denounced him for rape in the courts of that province and in the Specialized Fiscal Unit for Violence against Women (UFEM), in the city of Buenos Aires.

Alperovich requested a license from his bank as a senator on November 25, which was granted for a period of six months after the approval of the upper house.
