Beverly Hills, California (February 26, 2020) - Billboard and Telemundo announced today that super stars Carlos Vives and Anuel AA will participate in the renewed LatinFest + event, formerly known as Billboard Latin Music Week, a unique three-day music experience Latin, culture and entertainment that will take place April 20-23 in Las Vegas, Nevada at The Venetian hotel and will include conversations with superstars, workshops, live concerts and fan experiences. Both join the previously announced multi-platinum artists J Balvin , Ozuna , Rosalia and Los Tigres del Norte , among others.
Vives, who throughout his more than 25 years of career has created global hits such as "The Cold Drop," "Steal a Kiss" and "The Bicycle," will participate as a speaker in a panel entitled "Live Live with Carlos Vives" ("Live Live with Carlos Vives"). The coach of "La Voz" and icon of Colombian music will talk about the creation of his new album, material behind the scenes never seen before and will offer an exclusive look at his new tour.
The Puerto Rican star of Trap , Anuel AA, whose most recent collaboration with Shakira, "Like," reached the ninth position in the Top 10 Hot Latin Songs chart, will participate in a panel entitled "Viva Live with Anuel" ("Live Live with Anuel ”) and will talk about his new album.
During two of the most anticipated panels - “On The Rise” and “Regional Mexican Goes Urban” - attendees will be able to listen to both new artists and industry veterans, all renowned in Latin music.
“On the Rise: The New Generation of Urban Men and Women”
Being one of the most celebrated Billboard franchises, the popular panel “On The Rise” will feature the participation of Natanael Cano, Cazzu, Jhay Cortez, Lunay, Mariah, Sech, Myke Towers and Manuel Turizo in an intimate conversation about men and women who currently push the boundaries in Urban and Trap musical styles. Cortez, Sech and Turizo join the panel in the middle of great success, having recently been named as finalists in the Artist of the Year category, Debut in the "2020 Billboard Latin Music Awards." Cano, who brings the Trap Corridos movement with songs that have gained popularity among young people, joins the panel after securing his first top 10 on the Billboard Hot Latin Songs chart with the hit "Love Lying." Towers joins the panel after the success of their second album Easy Money, Baby, which debuted at No. 1 on the Top Latin Albums and Latin Rhythm Albums. Lunay, who in just 18 months of career has had a great impact on the Latin music industry, completes the list of panelists with the Argentine star Cazzu and the hit singer “Perreito”, Mariah, two female powers in the genre of Trap .
“Regional Mexican Goes Urban”
The panel will discuss the new fashion in the Mexican Regional style of merging Traditional and Urban rhythms, and will feature some of the most influential characters in the Mexican Regional and Urban Corridos styles, such as the Co-founder of Rancho Humilde, Jimmy Humilde , Jesus Ortiz Paz de Fuerza Regida, Alex Guerra de Legado 7, the founder of DEL Records Ángel del Villar , singer-songwriter Lenin Ramírez , Sergio Cárdenas of T3R Element and Shrek of Arsenal Cash.
Celebrating its 30th anniversary as the largest and longest meeting in the world of Latin music for both the industry and fans alike, LatinFest + will include talks with superstars, industry panels and workshops, celebrity conversations, live concerts and experiences for the fans. The three-day experience will culminate in the “2020 Billboard Latin Music Awards,” which will be broadcast live on Telemundo on Thursday, April 23, 2020 at 8 pm/7c.

J Balvin - The Colombian will lead a conversation about music, industry, global influences and culture, entitled "Life of Balvin" ("La Vida de Balvin").
Ozuna - The Puerto Rican star will participate in an exclusive solo conversation, titled “Behind the Scenes with Ozuna” (“Behind the Scene with Ozuna”) in which he will discuss his tour and multiple new projects, including cinema.
Rosalía - The Spanish singer-songwriter is confirmed to participate in a discussion entitled “Superstar Q&A with Rosalía” (“Q&A Superstar with Rosalía”).
Los Tigres del Norte - The Grammy Award-winning Mexican Regional group will participate in an exclusive panel entitled “Los Tigres del Norte - The Making of 'Live at Folsom Prison': Blending Artistry and Social Responsibility” (“Los Tigres del Norte - La Realization of 'Live at Folsom Prison': Mixing Art and Social Responsibility ”). The group will discuss, among other topics, how was the realization of the acclaimed Netflix documentary in a panel that will also feature the participation of producer Zach Horowitz and Ralph Diaz, secretary of the Department of Correction and Rehabilitation of the state of California.
