A new extraordinary layoff procedure for almost 4,000 Alitalia employees which also takes into account the coronavirus emergency. The company asked for another seven months of cigs, from March 24 to October 31, for a total of 3,960 employees. (HANDLE)


(ANSA) - ROME, FEBRUARY 27 - A new extraordinary cassaintegration procedure for almost 4,000 Alitalia employees which also takes into account the coronavirus emergency. The company asked for another seven months of cigs, from March 24 to October 31, for a total of 3,960 employees. There are 1,175 people (including 70 commanders 95 pilots and 340 flight attendants and 670 of ground staff), to which are added 2,785 for unexpected incidents related to the coronavirus emergency: 143 commanders, 182 pilots, 780 flight attendants, 1,680 ground staff.
Numbers that will still be subject to negotiation.
