The company has to deal with a major cancellation wave to the same destinations following the outbreak of the Corona virus and the Foreign Ministry and Health Ministry warnings about those countries. The decision on Thailand, Italy and Japan joins the extension of flights to Beijing and Hong Kong until May 2 this year.

Delaying activity for all destinations in Italy (Milan, Venice, Rome and Naples on flights from San Dor) from tomorrow, Friday 28/2/20 for two weeks, until 14/3/20. At the same time, the company's operations in Thailand will be suspended from Monday 2/3/20 to 27/3/20 (last appearance to Bangkok on Sunday, 1/3/20 and Bangkok to Tel Aviv on Tuesday, 3/3/20).

Corona virus spread status worldwide

Postponing the launch of the Tokyo line has many meanings. Al Al has invested high amounts in the campaign towards one of the company's interesting and intriguing lines. This is the first line ever between Tel Aviv and Tokyo and according to travel agents, the demand for the line was very high, until the outbreak of the virus.
