Measles vaccination from March 1, 2020
Already decided at the end of 2019 by the federal speed camera day , it now comes into force: The Germany-wide measles obligation in day care centers and schools . Proof of vaccination must be provided for all children from the age of one who are newly enrolled in a kindergarten or school - and for those who are already attending the community facility. Their parents must provide proof of vaccination * by July 31, 2021 . The obligation also applies to all employees in day care centers, schools and hospitals - if they were born after 1970 . Those who do not comply can face a fine of up to 2500 euros .
New in March 2020: deduct more costs for moving from tax
If you are single and have to change your place of residence due to work , you can deduct a flat rate of 820 euros from tax from March 1, 2020, for spouses and registered partners it is 1639 euros . For which services does this flat rate apply? For example, for cosmetic repairs that still have to be done when moving out, for the moving company or the brokerage costs when looking for a new place to stay. These moving costs * must of course be documented at the tax office .
Byebye, speed camera apps: banned from March 2020
They are practical from the point of view of the driver, and there is even a Google speed camera service *: apps that warn of radar controls. In the wake of the amendment to the Road Traffic Ordinance (StVO) from February, they are now "expressly" prohibited. The Federal Ministry of Transport is currently making this clear on its website.
Cost point, if a driver is caught with a speed camera app : 75 euros fine . It can also threaten a point in the traffic offender database in Flensburg.
No advertising for cosmetic surgeries for adolescents - also on Facebook, Instagram & Co.
“Advertisements for cosmetic surgery often convey the wrong message. That is why we want to ban advertising for cosmetic surgery that is aimed exclusively or predominantly at adolescents, ”the Federal Ministry of Health announced in autumn 2019.
The new regulation from March 1, 2020 was an amendment to the Measles Protection Act (see above). Currently, the German Medicines Advertising Act already prohibits advertising what a body looks like before and after a plastic surgery operation. Likewise, advertisers are not allowed to target children under the age of 14 exclusively or predominantly.
However, since this regulation does not protect the age group from the age of 14, the ban on advertising for operating theaters "without medical necessity" is being expanded to protect young people. This also applies to advertising on Facebook, Instagram & Co..
After sexual offense: Health insurance companies cover the costs of securing evidence
Federal Minister of Health Jens Spahn (CDU) pleaded for this last fall: From March 1, 2020, confidential evidence on the body of victims of sexual assault and sexual abuse will become a cash benefit . Less free hand luggage at Eurowings from March 2020
