Polfer was found in Bologna by the woman who yesterday afternoon abandoned a baby in a wheelchair near Termini station in Rome. According to reports from police sources, he was on a train bound for Munich. The woman has been arrested.

On Thursday afternoon the pram had been left on a sidewalk in via Principe Amedeo not far from the station terminals and the terminus of some buses during rush hour: probably the woman wanted to be sure that the child could be rescued and welcomed. In fact, a passer-by noticed it: she saw the wheelchair unattended, leaned over to look inside and saw the baby sleeping soundly. So he raised the alarm. The law enforcement agencies, in addition to taking care of the child entrusted to the care of the doctors, immediately screened the cameras in the area. From the images it emerged that to abandon the wheelchair would have been a woman dressed in dark with a hood on her head and a girl of about three years in her arms. The child was in fact found in good condition by the doctors who underwent analysis and tests: he is well fed and cared for and responds to all stimuli. On the other hand, the hospital has already activated the social services that will take care of the child who will be entrusted, at least for the moment, to the social workers
