(ANSA) - BEIJING, FEB 28 - China has reported 44 new deaths from coronavirus and 327 additional cases of infection, the lowest level in over a month. Overall, the victims have risen to 2,788, reported the Sanitarian Commission (NHC), almost all of which relate to Hubei, the province and epicenter of the epidemic. Of the 44 new deaths announced, 41 are related to Hubei, the epicenter province of the epidemic, two in Beijing and one in Xinjiang. There are 452 suspect cases, the critical ones have decreased by 394 units, to 7,952. Thursday there were 3,622 patients recovered and discharged from hospitals, bringing the total to 36,117, according to updates from the National Health Commission (NHC). Confirmed cases of infections rose to 78,824, including 2,788 deaths. The Commission added 2,308 people at risk, while 656,054 people came into contact with certain infected people.
There are 10,525 people discharged from the medical observation period and 65,225 those who are still subjected to it.
