La Vita Nuova was directed by Ash Workman, who had previously worked with the singer on her first album, Human Heat . Available now in digital version, the EP will be released on April 10 on CD and LP.
He is accompanied by a long and ambitious video directed by Colin Solal Cardo (Robyn, Charli XCX), on a choreography by Ryan Heffington (Sia, Arcade Fire). The character embodied by the artist strolls through the corridors of the Paris Opera in a story of metamorphoses over the meetings with a character of Fauna played by the actor Félix Maritaud. The film is punctuated by the five new songs, which show great efficiency. The American Caroline Polachek (ex-Chairlift) joins Christine and the Queens on La Vita Nuova , title track of the EP.
