(ANSA) - BEIRUT, FEBRUARY 28 - Lebanon prohibits the entry into the country of all passengers on flights from Italy unless they are Lebanese or foreign citizens who have a residence permit in the country. The ordinance issued today by the Lebanese Ministry of Public Works for the emergency coronavirus also affects the other three countries (China, South Korea and Iran) where there have been more confirmed cases of Covid-19 so far. Quoted by the Lebanese government agency NNA, the ordinance does not formally provide for blocking flights.
