(ANSA) - TOKYO, FEBRUARY 28 - The Tokyo Stock Exchange opens the last week of the week in sharp decline after the biggest daytime show on Wall Street during the night, due to growing fears among investors of a coronavirus spread, and the inability of the authorities to contain it. The Nikkei drops almost 3% to 21,310.15, with a loss of over 600 points. On the foreign exchange market, the yen continues to appreciate against the dollar at 109.50, and against the euro at 120.50.
